Hands-On Training Key to Product Success

TOMAD revived its emphasis on training customers in a hands-on environment at its Hamriyah Distribution and Training Center in Sharjah UAE in March 2022. The training featured products from Intercable Tools, IDEAL and Current Tools, manufacturers of electrical tools and wire connectors used in the construction and electrical industries.

TOMAD hosted 27 participants from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, UAE and Lebanon who took advantage of the opportunity to work alongside supplier representatives and TOMAD sales engineers.

Andreas Huber of Intercable traveled from Europe to present and train on cable termination products and a distinctive feature focused on tools for stripping medium voltage cables.   Brett Smyth of IDEAL Industries shared the benefits of IDEAL’s wire connectors and the popular push-in connectors and wire nuts.  TOMAD’s Regional Sales Manager, Hrayr Setoyan, demonstrated to attendees the quality and value of Current’s line of knock-out punches.
