Tommy Briere

Tommy Briere serves as the Chief Financial Officer for TOMAD International Inc. and works out of his Chicago, Illinois office. He graduated with a  Bachelor’s degree in Economics from DePauw University (cum laude) and was a member of the Management Fellows Program, an honors program focused on management and leadership.

Prior to joining TOMAD in January 2021, Tommy’s career at BMO Harris Bank, a multi-national financial institution, started in the bank’s Special Assets group monitoring high-risk credit relationships before going through the formal Commercial Analyst Development Program. He spent the next few years monitoring the risk of existing commercial relationships and underwriting/structuring new loans to small businesses and publicly traded corporations in a wide range of industries.

Working as a member of BMO Harris’s Corporate Advisory group in Chicago, Tommy focused on equipping owners/executive management with analysis to make informed corporate decisions around growth and liquidity. He advised middle market businesses on buy-side M&A, ownership transitions, and general corporate finance analysis. Tommy gained experience analyzing returns on growth opportunities to create value for shareholders, exploring shareholder liquidity options and assembling valuations for businesses.
